Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic key device for determining whether or not a noise environment is dominant when failing to authenticate a portable machine.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle machine 1 for authenticating an ID code of a portable machine 50 includes: first authentication means 6 for performing, on the basis of external input for activating a control apparatus 30, an authentication request of the portable machine 50 by using an LF signal, and performing authentication on the basis of an RF signal including the ID code of the portable machine 50 which is transmitted from the portable machine 50 in response to the authentication request; and noise environment determination means 7 for requesting the portable machine 50 to transmit a noise determination pattern when having failed to perform authentication, and determining whether or not a noise environment with respect to either or both of the LF signal and the RF signal is dominant on the basis of the noise determination pattern transmitted from the portable machine 50 in response to the request for the noise determination pattern. When the noise environment is dominant, the on-vehicle machine 1 notifies the portable machine 50's user.
【課題】携帯機の認証に失敗した場合に、ノイズ環境下であるか否かを判定する電子キー装置を得る。【解決手段】車載機1が携帯機50のIDコードを認証するに当たって、制御機器30を作動させるための外部入力に基づき、携帯機50に対してLF信号により認証要求し、この認証要求に応答して、携帯機50から送信された携帯機50のIDコードを含むRF信号に基づき、第1の認証手段6が認証を行い、認証に失敗した場合には、携帯機50に対し、ノイズ判定パターンの送信を要求し、これに応じて携帯機50から送信されるノイズ判定パターンに基づき、ノイズ環境判定手段7がLF信号及びRF信号のいずれか一方または両方に係わるノイズ環境下にあるか否かを判定し、ノイズ環境下にある場合には携帯機50の使用者に報知するようにした。【選択図】図1 |
