Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for providing an extra fine brass plating steel wire excellent in strength and ductility by omitting patenting and conducting a diffusion heat treatment for alloying Cu plating and Zn plating formed in a layered manner.SOLUTION: Cu plating and Zn plating are formed on a surface of a hot rolling wire material in a layered manner after conducting wire drawing with processing distortion of 0.5 to 1.6 on the hot rolling wire material containing, by mass%, C:0.3 to 1.1%, Si:0.5 to 2.0%, Mn:0.2 to 1.0% and Cr:0.5 to 1.0% and having wire diameter of 3.0 to 5.0 mm; a diffusion heat treatment is conducted so that a heating temperature is 450°C or more, tempering parameter P is in a range of 12000 to 13000 and the content of Si and Cr, the processing distortion and the tempering parameter P satisfy 2.5≥Si+Cr≥1.9× +0.0017×P-21.4; and further final wire drawing for making wire diameter at 0.2 to 0.4 mm is conducted.
【課題】パテンティングを省略し、層状に形成されたCuめっき、Znめっきを合金化させる拡散熱処理を行って、強度及び延性に優れた極細ブラスめっき鋼線が得られる製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】質量%で、C:0.3〜1.1%、Si:0.5〜2.0%、Mn:0.2〜1.0%、Cr:0.5〜1.0%を含み、線径3.0〜5.0mmの熱間圧延線材に、加工歪み が0.5〜1.6の伸線加工を施した後、表面にCuめっき及びZnめっきを層状に形成し、加熱温度が450℃以上、焼戻しパラメータPが12000〜13000の範囲内で、Si及びCrの含有量と、前記加工歪み と、前記焼戻しパラメータPとが、2.5 Si+Cr 1.9? +0.0017?P−21.4を満足するように拡散熱処理を行い、更に、線径を0.2〜0.4mmとする最終伸線を行う。【選択図】図2 |
