Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process of producing an epoxide or epichlorohydrin from a multihydroxylated-aliphatic hydrocarbon and/or an ester thereof.SOLUTION: In the process, using a catalyst applicable under superatmospheric, atmospheric and subatmospheric pressure conditions with improved results, a multihydroxylated-aliphatic hydrocarbon and/or an ester thereof is contacted with a source of a superatmospheric partial pressure of hydrogen chloride for a sufficient time and at a sufficient temperature, without substantial removal of water, to produce a chlorohydrin; and then the chlorohydrin is contacted with a base to produce an epoxide in a high yield.
【課題】多ヒドロキシル化脂肪族炭化水素及び/又はそれらのエステルからエポキシド又はエピクロロヒドリンを製造する方法の提供。【解決手段】超大気圧、大気圧及び大気圧よりも低い圧力条件で、改良された結果を伴って使用することができる触媒を用いて、多ヒドロキシル化脂肪族炭化水素及び/又はそれらのエステルを、超大気圧分圧の塩化水素源と、十分な時間、十分な温度で、水を実質的に除去することなく、接触させてクロロヒドリンを製造し、次にクロロヒドリンを塩基と接触させてエポキシドを高収率で製造することができる方法の提供。【選択図】図1 |
