PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of suppressing variation in hot water supply temperature with respect to hot water supply setting temperature when supplying hot water to a hot water supply terminal immediately after stopping hot water supply to a bathtub.SOLUTION: A water heater includes: a hot water storage tank 3; a mixing vale 22 for hot water supply for mixing hot water from an upper part of the hot water storage tank 3 and water from the outside; hot water supply circuits (L12, L31, L32, 21, 22, 23, 24) for supplying hot water to a hot water supply terminal from the upper part of the hot water storage tank 3 via the mixing valve 22 for hot water supply; bath hot water supply circuits (L33, 25, 26, 27, 28) for branching from a further downstream side than the mixing valve 22 for hot water supply of the hot water supply circuits (L12, L31, L32, 21, 22, 23, 24), and for supplying hot water to a bathtub 4; and a control device for controlling the mixing valve 22 for hot water supply. When hot water supply to the bathtub 4 is stopped in a bath hot water filling operation, an opening of the mixing valve 22 for hot water supply is made to be further on the opening side corresponding to hot water supply setting temperature tthan the opening corresponding to bath setting temperature t. 【課題】浴槽への給湯を停止してすぐに給湯端末に給湯するときに、給湯設定温度に対する給湯温度の変動を抑制できる給湯装置を提供する。【解決手段】貯湯タンク３と、貯湯タンク３の上部からの湯水と外部からの水を混合する給湯用混合弁２２と、貯湯タンク３の上部から給湯用混合弁２２介して給湯端末に給湯するための給湯回路(Ｌ１２,Ｌ３１,Ｌ３２,２１,２２,２３,２４)と、給湯回路(Ｌ１２,Ｌ３１,Ｌ３２,２１,２２,２３,２４)の給湯用混合弁２２よりも下流側から分岐して浴槽４に給湯するための風呂給湯回路(Ｌ３３,２５,２６,２７,２８)と、給湯用混合弁２２を制御する制御装置を備える。風呂湯張り運転において浴槽４への給湯を停止したとき、給湯用混合弁２２の開度を風呂設定温度ｔＢＳに対応する開度よりも給湯設定温度ｔＫＳに対応する開度側にする。【選択図】図１
