Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet driving device that can suppress generation of a useless ink droplet at the time of printing without being subjected to complicated control.SOLUTION: The inkjet driving device comprises: a pressure chamber into which ink is filled; a nozzle that is communicated with the pressure chamber and discharges ink; and a driving part that changes volume of the pressure chamber on the basis of a driving signal. The driving signal, when a natural vibration period of ink in the pressure chamber is set as Tc, has: pulse expansion that expands volume of the pressure chamber where power conduction time is approximately Tc/2; pulse constriction that constricts volume of the pressure chamber where power conduction time is (7/6 to 4/3) Tc; and a suspension period during which power conduction where the time is (1/6 to 1/3) Tc is not performed between the pulse expansion and the pulse constriction. 【課題】複雑な制御を行うことなく印字の際の不要なインク滴の発生を抑えることができるインクジェット駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】本実施形態に係るインクジェット駆動装置は、インクが充填される圧力室と、この圧力室に連通しインクを吐出するノズルと、駆動信号に基づいて前記圧力室の容積を変化させる駆動部と、を有するインクジェット駆動装置であって、上記駆動信号は、上記圧力室内のインクの固有振動周期をTcとするとき、通電時間がTc/2近傍である上記圧力室の容積を拡大させる拡張パルスと、通電時間が(7/6〜4/3)Tcである上記圧力室の容積を収縮させる収縮パルスと、上記拡張パルスと上記収縮パルスとの間に(1/6〜1/3)Tcである通電を行わない休止時間を有することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
