Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste toner recovery container and an image forming apparatus in which: when the waste toner recovery container is attached/detached to/from an image forming apparatus body, the occurrence of a defect can be prevented where a movable member of a waste toner detection part is displaced to be in contact with the image forming apparatus body.SOLUTION: A waste toner recovery container 30 has a rubber sheet 56 (flexible member) installed to block an opening part 31k formed in a ceiling part 31a, a filler 55 (movable member) installed to be displaced by the pressing movement of a waste toner with the rubber sheet 56 therebetween and is detected by a photosensor 57 (detection means), and a regulating member 31m that regulates the displacement of the filler 55. 【課題】画像形成装置本体に対して廃トナー回収容器が着脱されるときに、廃トナー検知部の可動部材が変位して画像形成装置本体に接触してしまう不具合が生じることのない、廃トナー回収容器、及び、画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】廃トナー回収容器３０は、天井部３１ａに形成された開口部３１ｋを塞ぐようにゴムシート５６（可撓性部材）が設置されて、ゴムシート５６を介在した廃トナーによる押動によって変位してフォトセンサ５７（検知手段）によって検知されるフィラー５５（可動部材）が設置されて、フィラー５５の変位を制限する規制部材３１ｍがさらに設置されている。【選択図】図７
