PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device cleaning unit capable of preventing damage on a medical device such as a dental handpiece, when cleaning the medical device by a cleaning device.SOLUTION: A medical device cleaning unit 20 comprises: a cleaning liquid supply frame 22; and a handpiece holder 24 attached to an exhaust nozzle 33 of the cleaning liquid supply frame 22. The handpiece holder 24 comprises: a connection tube part 41 coupled to the exhaust nozzle 33 detachably; a holding cylindrical part 42 for detachably holding a dental handpiece 100; and a channel 48 for communicating the connection tube part 41 and holding cylindrical part 42. The handpiece holder 24 has a metal mesh filter 49 on a midway of the channel 48, the mesh filter 49 removes foreign matters from the cleaning liquid, rinse water, hot water for sterilization and sterile air exhausted toward the dental handpiece 100. 【課題】洗浄装置で歯科用ハンドピースなどの医療器具を洗浄する際に、医療器具に損傷を発生させることを防止できる医療器具洗浄用ユニットを提供すること。【解決手段】医療器具洗浄用ユニット２０は、洗浄液供給フレーム２２と、洗浄液供給フレーム２２の噴出口３３に装着されるハンドピースホルダ２４を備える。ハンドピースホルダ２４は、噴出口３３に着脱可能に連結される連結管部４１、歯科用ハンドピース１００を着脱可能に保持する保持筒部４２、および、連結管部４１と保持筒部４２を連通させる流路４８を備える。また、ハンドピースホルダ２４は流路４８の途中に金属製のメッシュフィルタ４９を備えており、歯科用ハンドピース１００に向かって噴出される洗浄液、すすぎ液、消毒用の熱水および無菌空気から異物を除去する。【選択図】図３
