Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of incapability of a user of a home electric appliance easily changing, during a stay at home, a setting of each home electric appliance to the user's favorite setting.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus comprises: a detection unit for detecting capability of directly communicating with a storage medium for storing setting information on an electric appliance or a terminal comprising the storage medium; and a control unit that acquires the setting information from the storage medium when the detection unit has detected the capability of direct communication, and transmits the setting information to a corresponding electric appliance of a plurality of electric appliances. 【課題】家電製品のユーザは、在宅する間、各家電製品の設定を簡単に自分好みの設定に変更することができないという課題があった。【解決手段】電気製品の設定情報を記憶する記憶媒体、若しくは前記記憶媒体を備える端末と直接通信可能になったことを検出する検出部と、前記検出部が前記直接通信可能であることを検出した場合に、前記記憶媒体から前記設定情報を取得して、複数の前記電気製品各々に、対応する前記設定情報を送信する制御部と、を備える。【選択図】 図８
