Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement control program which effectively utilizes resources of a physical server that executes a virtual machine, a method, and an apparatus.SOLUTION: An arrangement control method includes: determining whether each of virtual machines executed in a first or second information processing apparatus is executing application processing, which is processing to be executed in response to an external request; arranging a virtual machine executing the application processing in the first information processing apparatus; and arranging a virtual machine which is not executing the application processing in the second information processing apparatus. 【課題】仮想マシンを実行する物理サーバの資源を有効に利用する配置制御プログラム、方法及び装置を提供する。【解決手段】本配置制御方法は、第１の情報処理装置又は第２の情報処理装置において実行されている複数の仮想マシンの各々について、当該仮想マシンが、外部からの要求に応じて実行する処理である業務処理を実行しているか否か判定し、複数の仮想マシンのうち業務処理を実行している仮想マシンを第１の情報処理装置に配置し、複数の仮想マシンのうち業務処理を実行していない仮想マシンを第２の情報処理装置に配置する処理を含む。【選択図】図１
