Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device which can set a stroke of a valve body long, and can exactly determine a position of the valve body while maximally suppressing the generation of a stepped-sound of a stepping motor.SOLUTION: A rotating body 32 for reciprocating a valve body 2 is rotatable within a range exceeding 360°, and a detection signal is outputted from a sensor S when the valve body 2 exists not only at a starting end or a terminal end but also in an intermediate position. In the position determination processing of the valve body 2, when the detection signal is outputted from the sensor S after a start of the transmission of a drive signal to a stepping motor M, an additional drive signal having a prescribed step number is further transmitted, after that, when an output of the detection signal is interrupted, it is determined that the valve body 2 is not positioned at the starting end or the terminal end, and when the output is not interrupted, it is determined that the valve body 2 is positioned at the starting end or the terminal end. 【課題】弁体のストロークを長く設定することができ、かつステッピングモータの脱調音が発生することをできる限り抑制しつつ、弁体の位置判断を的確に行なうことが可能なバルブ装置を提供する。【解決手段】弁体2を往復動させるための回転体32は、360?を超える範囲で回転可能とされ、弁体2が始端または終端のみならず、中間位置に存在する際にもセンサSから検知信号が出力される構成とされ、弁体2の位置判断処理時においては、ステッピングモータMへの駆動信号の送信開始後にセンサSから検知信号が出力されると、所定のステップ数の追加の駆動信号がさらに送信され、その後に検知信号の出力が途絶えた場合には、弁体2は始端または終端には位置していないと判断され、そうでない場合には、弁体2は始端または終端に位置していると判断される。【選択図】 図2
