Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft seal which solves the problem that assembly operation efficiency of components is low, the number of components is many, a production unit cost is high, and when a gasket is saved, it is risk that corotation or slip-off of a seal element occurs, and which can be manufactured at low cost.SOLUTION: The wall thickness dimension of an outer peripheral edge 6 of a seal element 5 held between an inner flange wall part 2 of an outer case 1 and an inner flange wall part 4 of an inner case 3 is set larger than the wall thickness dimension of a residual part 7 of the seal element 5.
【課題】部品の組立作業能率が低く、部品点数も多く、かつ、製品単価が高価になる点、また、ガスケットを省略すると、シールエレメントが共回りしたり、抜け出す虞れがある点を解決する、低コストで製作することができる軸シールを提供する。【解決手段】アウターケース1の内鍔壁部2と、インナーケース3の内鍔壁部4に挟着されるシールエレメント5の外周縁6の肉厚寸法を、シールエレメント5の残部7の肉厚寸法よりも、大きく設定する。【選択図】図1 |
