Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system capable of highly accurately estimating the speed of an observation target without predicting the number of incoming unnecessary waves.SOLUTION: A TBD (Track Before Detect) processing unit of a two-dimensional peak detection processing unit 3 sets a search region having width corresponding to a fluctuation in primary scattering peaks in a range direction in a Doppler spectrum calculated by a signal processing unit 2 one range bin before the range bin of a cell of interest, which is each frequency bin constituting the Doppler spectrum, selects an addition target frequency bin (for example, a frequency bin having a maximum amplitude value) from among a plurality of frequency bins in the search region, adds a score of the selected addition target frequency bin to the amplitude value of the cell of interest, and defines an addition result as a score of the cell of interest. 【課題】入り込む不要波の数を予測することなく、観測対象の速度を高精度に推定することができるレーダ装置を提供する。【解決手段】2次元ピーク検出処理部3のTBD(Track Before Detect)処理部が、信号処理部2により算出されたドップラースペクトルを構成する各周波数ビンを注目セルとして、当該注目セルのレンジビンより1レンジビン前のドップラースペクトルの中に、レンジ方向の1次散乱ピークのばらつき分に相当する幅を有する探索領域を設定し、その探索領域内の複数の周波数ビンの中から、加算対象の周波数ビン(例えば、振幅値が最大の周波数ビン)を選択して、加算対象の周波数ビンのスコアを注目セルの振幅値に加算し、その加算結果を注目セルのスコアとする。【選択図】図1
