Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone treatment device which measures the strain value of an implant by using a load applied to a bone, in order to evaluate healing of the bone.SOLUTION: A device for treating bone in a living body includes (a) an implant 102 configured to be attached to a bone 108; (b) a first sensor 104 for measuring a strain of a first portion of the implant, the first portion of the implant being configured to be mechanically coupled to a weakened portion of a bone when the implant is coupled to the bone in a target position in combination; and (c) a second sensor 106 for measuring strain in a non-weakened portion of the bone.
