PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter device in which a needle retracted from a catheter is located in a protection position inside a cylindrical receptacle.SOLUTION: A catheter device comprises: a catheter hub in which a valve member 7 is arranged; a needle 9 which is fixed in a needle hub 11 and penetrates through the valve member in the catheter hub in a ready position; and a cylindrical receptacle 8 in which the needle hub is guided to be displaced in the cylindrical receptacle and is biased by a spring 13 in a proximal direction relative to the receptacle. The needle hub is releasably held in the ready position in the receptacle against the force of the spring by frictional force between an outer periphery of the needle and the catheter 4 or the catheter hub, and the frictional force is reduced when the needle is retracted through the catheter hub such that the force of the spring prevails. 【課題】カテーテルから後退した針が筒状のレセプタクルの内部の保護位置に至るカテーテル装置を提供する。【解決手段】弁部材７が配置されているカテーテルハブと、針ハブ１１内に固定されると共に、準備完了位置においてカテーテルハブ内の弁部材を貫通する針９と、筒状のレセプタクル８であって、針ハブが該筒状のレセプタクル内で変位可能にガイドされるとともにばね１３によって該レセプタクルに対して近位方向に付勢される、レセプタクルとを備え、針ハブは、針の外周とカテーテル４又はカテーテルハブとの間の摩擦力によってばねの力に抗してレセプタクル内の準備完了位置に解放可能に保持され、この摩擦力は、ばねの力が優勢となるように、針がカテーテルハブを通って後退すると低減する、カテーテル装置。【選択図】図１
