PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus, capable of search operation with high accuracy in cooperation with a terminal device, with a suppressed search processing time.SOLUTION: An MFP100 transmits to a terminal device 300 the information of the MFP operation screen, to display the operation screen on the display of the terminal device (S1-S3). When an instruction input from the terminal device to the operation screen is an input of a search key, the MFP performs search processing in a search range, using the search key (S6). At this time, based on the operation screen displayed on the terminal device at the acceptance of the search key, the MFP determines the order of priority in regard to the search of the memory of the terminal device or the search of the memory of the image formation apparatus in the search range (S5), to perform search processing of the memory based on the order of priority, using the search key. 【課題】検索処理時間を抑えつつ高精度で、端末装置と連携して検索動作が可能な画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】ＭＦＰ１００は、端末装置３００に当該ＭＦＰの操作画面の情報を送信することで、端末装置のディスプレイに操作画面を表示させる（Ｓ１〜Ｓ３）。操作画面に対する端末装置からの指示入力が検索キーの入力であった場合、ＭＦＰは、検索範囲に対して検索キーを用いて検索処理を行なう（Ｓ６）。このとき、ＭＦＰは、検索キーを受け付けた際に端末装置に表示されている操作画面に基づいて、検索範囲における端末装置のメモリーと画像形成装置のメモリーとの検索の優先順位を決定し（Ｓ５）、優先順位に応じたメモリーに対して検索キーを用いて検索処理を行なう。【選択図】図５
