Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector terminal holding structure, capable of stably holding a terminal, which is force fit into a terminal holding hole, with improved terminal holding power.SOLUTION: In the terminal holding structure for a connector 2, in which a straight-shaped part 61 of a terminal 6 is force fit to a terminal holding hole 44 which is formed on the terminal holding wall 41 of a resin housing 4, at least one pair of protruding strip parts 62, which protrude to both sides in a direction orthogonal to a force fit direction, are formed on an outer surface of a part corresponding to the terminal holding hole. Each protruding stripe part is formed to have a recess 63 having a wedge-shaped cross section orthogonal to the straight-shaped part, at the tip. In each recess of the protruding strip parts protruding to both sides, a size W1 between bottom parts 64 is formed larger than a size W2 of the terminal holding hole at each position to which the protruding strip parts protruding to both sides are force fit. 【課題】端子保持孔に圧入された端子の保持力を高め、端子を安定して保持することが可能なコネクタの端子保持構造を提供する。【解決手段】樹脂製のハウジング4の端子保持壁41に形成された端子保持孔44に、端子6の直状部61を圧入して保持するコネクタ2の端子保持構造であって、端子の直状部には、端子保持孔に対応する部位の外面に、圧入方向と直交する方向の両側へ突出する少なくとも一対の突条部62が形成され、突条部は、直状部と直交する断面がくさび形の凹み63を先端部に有して形成し、両側へ突出する突条部の凹みは、底部64間の寸法W1が該両側へ突出する突条部が圧入される位置の端子保持孔の寸法W2よりも大きく形成する。【選択図】 図5
