PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand dryer capable of improving visibility of an operation part for an operator while preventing a general user of the hand dryer from easily touching the operation part.SOLUTION: In a hand dryer, a main body case 2 includes a nozzle holding surface 7 opposing to a floor surface 12 and holding a nozzle part 4. A part of the nozzle holding surface 7 includes a recession 11 recessed in the direction of an electric blower 3. The recession 11 includes a first plane 14 inclined with respect to a horizontal surface. The first plane 14 is inclined in the direction of the floor surface 12 from the front surface side of the main body case 2 to a wall surface 1 side being the rear surface side of the main body case 2. The first plane 14 includes an operation part 9. 【課題】手乾燥装置の一般利用者が容易に操作部に触れることを防止しつつ、操作者にとって操作部の視認性を向上させることができる手乾燥装置を提供する。【解決手段】本体ケース２は、床面１２と対向し且つノズル部４を保持するノズル保持面７を有し、ノズル保持面７の一部は電動送風機３方向に凹んだ凹部１１を有し、凹部１１は水平面に対して傾斜している第１平面１４を有し、第１平面１４は本体ケース２の前面側から本体ケース２の後面側である壁面１側に向かって床面１２方向に傾斜しており、第１平面１４に操作部９が設けられることを特徴とする手乾燥装置。【選択図】図１
