PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating peeler which enables peeled length of an electric wire coating to be set to desired length and shortens the work time.SOLUTION: An electric wire coating peeler 1 slides on a coating 21 of an electric wire 2 to peel the coating and includes: a holder part 4 provided with a blade body 3; and a holding part 5 which is integrally formed with the holder part so as to continue into the holder part. In the holder part, an opening part 41 for introducing the electric wire into an inner part 40 formed into a hollow shape is formed on a side surface. A roller 6 which may rotate in a slide direction of the blade body is provided in the holder part. When the electric wire is introduced from the opening part into the inner part of the holder part 4, the blade body and the roller contact with the coating. A worker holds the holding part 5 and pulls the electric wire coating peeler in a direction that the coating is peeled. Then, the blade body digs into the coating and the roller reduces friction caused by the electric wire coating peeler in its moving direction to enable the worker to smoothly peel the coating. 【課題】電線の被覆を剥ぎ取る長さを所望の長さにすることができ、作業時間の短縮を図ることが可能な被覆剥取器を提供する。【解決手段】電線皮剥器１は、電線２の被覆２１上を摺動させることにより被覆を剥ぐもので、刃体３が設けられたホルダ部４と、ホルダ部に続いて一体に形成された把持部５とを有して構成され、ホルダ部は中空状に形成された内部４０に電線を導入する開口部４１が側面に形成され、ホルダ部の内部に、刃体の摺動方向に回転可能なローラ６とが設けられている。開口部からホルダ部４の内部に電線が導入されると、被覆に刃体とローラが当接し、作業者が把持部５を把持して被覆を剥ぐ方向に引っ張ると、刃体が被覆にくい込むと共にローラが電線皮剥器の移動方向に対する摩擦を軽減して、スムーズに被覆を剥ぐことができる。【選択図】図１
