Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to achieve both suppressing a temperature rise of a paper non-passing part and maintaining fixability of an end part in a fixing device including a cylindrical film, a heater being in contact with the film, and a heat-conductive member which is in contact with a surface opposite to a surface being in contact with the film, of the heater.SOLUTION: A heat-conductive member is in contact with the opposite surface of the heater in a range from an area where a heat element is formed to an area where it is not formed, in a lengthwise direction, and a calorific value of the heat element in end parts is larger than in a center part in the lengthwise direction. 【課題】 筒状のフィルムと、フィルムに接触するヒータと、ヒータのフィルムに接触する面と反対側の面に接触する熱伝導部材と、を有する定着装置において、非通紙部昇温の抑制と端部定着性の維持の両立が困難である。【解決手段】 熱伝導部材は、長手方向において、ヒータの発熱抵抗体が形成されている領域からそれが形成されてない領域に及ぶまでの範囲でヒータの反対側の面に接触し、長手方向において発熱抵抗体の発熱量は、中央部よりも端部の方が大きい。【選択図】 図4
