PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of easily and correctly creating exchange number/address correspondence information.SOLUTION: A radio master unit which is connected to a data collection device holds a piece of correspondence information associating between an assignment exchange number of a sensor device and an address of a radio slave unit which includes the sensor device. The correspondence information is created in the following manner that: the radio master unit gives a temporary correspondence information which includes only an exchange number to the radio slave unit; the radio slave unit transmits an inquiry to confirm the exchange number to the connected sensor device using the written exchange number of the temporary correspondence information as the address; when the exchange number of transmission of the inquiry to confirm the exchange number is the own assignment exchange number, the sensor device makes a confirmation affirmation response; receiving the confirmation affirmation response, the radio slave unit notifies the fact to the radio master unit; and the radio master unit associates the notified exchange number with the notified address of the radio slave unit. 【課題】 局番・アドレス対応情報を容易かつ正確に作成できる無線通信システムを提供する。【解決手段】 センサ装置の割当て局番と、このセンサ装置を収容する無線子機のアドレスとの対応情報を、データ収集装置に接続された無線親機が保持する。対応情報を以下のように作成する。無線親機は、局番だけを含む仮の対応情報を無線子機に与える。無線子機は、仮の対応情報の記述局番を宛先に用いて、接続しているセンサ装置に局番確認送信を行い、センサ装置は、局番確認送信の局番が、自装置の割当て局番の場合に確認肯定の返信を行う。無線子機は、確認肯定の返信を受けると無線親機にその旨を通知し、無線親機は、通知された局番に、通知してきた無線子機のアドレスを対応付ける。【選択図】 図１
