PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of properly grasping whether moving image data can be reproduced even when it is actually not reproduced.SOLUTION: An information processing device for reproducing moving image data is configured to perform the steps of: acquiring video data stored in a predetermined storage position; separating the video data and audio data included in the acquired data (S21); comparing the time information attached to the separated video data and with the time information attached to the audio data separated by separating means (S24); and determining whether the acquired moving image data can be reproduced on the basis of the comparison results (S27, S29). The information processing device is also configured to be able to perform the steps of: determining whether the moving image data can be reproduced on the basis of whether separation of the video data and the audio data has been successfully performed to the last (S22, S28). 【課題】 情報処理装置において動画データを再生可能か否かを、実際に再生しなくても適切に把握できるようにする。【解決手段】 動画データを再生する情報処理装置において、所定の格納位置に格納された動画データを取得し、その取得したデータに含まれる映像データ及び音声データを分離し（Ｓ２１）、その分離した映像データに付随する時刻情報と、前記分離手段が分離した音声データに付随する時刻情報とを比較して（Ｓ２４）、その比較結果に基づき、取得した動画データが再生可能か否かを判定する（Ｓ２７，Ｓ２９）ようにした。映像データ及び音声データの分離が最後まで正常に行えたか否かに基づき、動画データが再生可能か否かを判定することもできる（Ｓ２２，Ｓ２８）。【選択図】 図６
