Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective display device that can stably switch between coloring and decoloring by using a leuco dye and that can stably switch between a display mode and an erasure mode of a pixel.SOLUTION: The reflective display device includes a first substrate 1 formed of a transparent material, a first electrode 2 disposed on one surface of the first substrate and formed of a transparent material, a second substrate 8 disposed to oppose to the first electrode side of the first substrate, and a second electrode 7 disposed on the first substrate side of the second substrate.
