Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a delivery capacity control mechanism of a high-pressure fuel supply pump.SOLUTION: A control device comprises: a cylinder; a plunger reciprocating within the cylinder and changing an internal volume of the cylinder; a valve element provided downstream of a through-hole connecting an interior of the cylinder to a low-pressure fuel passage to open or close the through-hole; an engagement member installed near the low-pressure fuel passage and manipulating the valve element to move to an open position against a force of the first spring; a second spring applying a force resisting the force of the first spring to the engagement member; and an electromagnetic driving device disengaging the engagement member from the valve element against a force of the second spring. 【課題】高圧燃料供給ポンプの吐出容量制御機構を改善する。【解決手段】シリンダと、このシリンダ内を往復してシリンダ内の容積を変化させるプランジャと、このシリンダ内と低圧燃料通路とを接続する通孔を開閉すべく、この通孔の下流側に設けられた弁体と、この弁体を閉弁方向に付勢する第1のばねと、前記低圧燃料通路側に設置され、前記弁体を前記第1のばねの力に抗して開放位置に操作する係合部材と、この係合部材に前記第1のばねの力に対抗する力を与える第2のばねと、前記第2のばねの力に抗して前記係合部材を前記弁体との係合状態から開放する電磁駆動装置とを有する。【選択図】 図15
