Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition which is sealed in a bearing for wheels, meets the requirement of low torque properties, shows a long delamination life and a long lubrication life even at high temperatures and suppresses fretting wear under fine vibration at low temperatures.SOLUTION: A grease composition for the wheel bearing comprises (a) a base oil which consists of a mineral oil and a synthetic hydrocarbon oil, in a ratio of the synthetic hydrocarbon oil to the total amount of the mineral oil and the synthetic hydrocarbon oil of 40-60 mass%, and has a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of 40-65 mm/s as the mixed oil, (b) a thickener of formula (A), (c) an amine-based antioxidant and (d) an amine phosphate-based anti-wear agent. In formula (A), Ris a diphenylmethane group; Rand Rare identical or mutually different and a cyclohexyl group and/or a 16-20C linear/branched alkyl group; and {(number of cyclohexyl groups)/(number of cyclohexyl groups+number of alkyl groups)}×100 is 50-90 mol%.
【課題】車輪用軸受に封入され、低トルク性を満足し、高温下でもはく離寿命や潤滑寿命が長く、低温下における微小振動下でのフレッチング摩耗を抑えることのできるグリース組成物の提供。【解決手段】(a)鉱油と合成炭化水素油とからなり、鉱油と合成炭化水素油との合計量に対する合成炭化水素油の割合が40〜60質量%であり、混合油の40℃における動粘度が40〜65mm2/sである基油、(b)下式(A)の増ちょう剤、(c)アミン系酸化防止剤、及び(d)アミンホスフェート系摩耗防止剤(式中、R2は、ジフェニルメタン基を示す。R1及びR3は互いに同一又は異なり、シクロへキシル基又はC16-20の直鎖又は分岐アルキル基を示し、{(シクロヘキシル基の数)/(シクロヘキシル基の数+アルキル基の数)}?100は50〜90モル%である。)を含有する車輪軸受用グリース組成物。【選択図】なし |
