PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine provided with a needle threader having a mechanism to apply tension to a thread in order to surely insert a thread of the sewing machine into a needle hole of a sewing needle.SOLUTION: In the sewing machine provided with a needle threader, a thread holder A includes: a thread holding surface part 44 for guiding and holding a thread; a thread pressing member 5 for pressing and sandwiching a thread together with the thread holding surface part 44; and a thread removal preventing part 6 provided so as to cross a thread sandwiched by the thread pressing member 5 and the thread holding surface part 44. When threading, a thread sandwiched by the thread holding surface part 44 and the thread pressing member 5 of the thread holder A is regulated so as not to be removed from a holding state but to be released in a predetermined direction by the thread removal preventing part 6. 【目的】ミシンの糸を縫針の針孔に挿通を確実に行うために、糸に緊張を与える機構を具備した糸通し装置を備えたミシンを提供すること。【構成】糸通し装置を備えたミシンにおいて、糸保持具Ａは、糸を案内し保持する糸保持面部４４と、糸保持面部４４と共に糸を押圧しつつ挟持する糸押圧部材５と、糸押圧部材５と糸保持面部４４で挟持された糸と交差するように設けた糸外れ防止部６とからなること。糸通しする際に、糸保持具Ａの糸保持面部４４と糸押圧部材５で挟持された糸が糸外れ防止部６により糸が保持状態から外れることなく所定の方向に抜けるように規制してなること。【選択図】 図１
