Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to share an input circuit among a plurality of electric power systems having a different voltage grade in a protection relay.SOLUTION: A protection relay 1 includes: an analog input processing unit that takes in quantity of electricity of an electric power system to output it as a first digital signal; a digital input processing unit that is connected with an external DC power supply E via a switch SW and compares a binary voltage Vdiv input in response to opening/closing of the switch SW with a threshold voltage Vth set according to the voltage Vdc of the external DC power supply E to output comparison results as a second digital signal; and a controller 32 that outputs an interruption command to a circuit breaker by determining the state of the electric power system on the basis of the first and second digital signals. 【課題】保護継電装置において、電圧階級が異なる複数の電力系統間での入力回路の共通化を実現する。【解決手段】保護継電装置1は、電力系統の電気量を取込んで第1のディジタル信号として出力するアナログ入力処理部と、スイッチSWを介して外部直流電源Eに接続され、スイッチSWの開閉に応じて入力される二値電圧Vdivと、外部直流電源Eの電圧Vdcに応じて設定される閾値電圧Vthとを比較し、比較結果を第2のディジタル信号として出力するディジタル入力処理部と、第1のディジタル信号および第2のディジタル信号に基づいて電力系統の状態を判断することにより開閉器に遮断指令を出力する制御部32とを備える。【選択図】図2
