Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation container capable of suppressing heat leakage from the opening side of the container and exhibiting a high heat insulation performance, and to provide a method of manufacturing the heat insulation container.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a heat insulation container formed of surrounding and enclosing walls including an inner wall and an outer wall and having an opening in at least one face. The walls have vacuum heat insulation materials in a space between the inner wall and the outer wall, and in side faces at the opening side of the walls, an end part of the vacuum heat insulation material is bent to form a bent part which is arranged to close a gap between the inner wall and the outer wall. The side faces at the opening side of the walls is covered by a lid arranged outside the bent part. 【課題】本発明は、容器の開口部側からの熱漏れを抑制し、高い断熱性能を発揮することが可能な断熱容器および断熱容器の製造方法を提供することを主目的とする。【解決手段】本発明は、内壁および外壁を有する壁部で周囲を囲うことにより形成され、少なくとも一つの面に開口部を有する断熱容器であって、上記壁部は、上記内壁および上記外壁間の空間に真空断熱材が配置されており、さらに上記壁部の開口部側側面では、上記内壁および上記外壁間の間隙を塞ぐように、上記真空断熱材の端部が折り曲げられてなる折り曲げ部が配置されており、上記壁部の上記開口部側側面が、上記折り曲げ部の外側に配置された蓋部により覆われていることを特徴とする断熱容器を提供することにより、上記目的を達成する。【選択図】図1
