Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device which can further properly perform air-fuel ratio control in a multi-cylinder engine having a plurality of cylinder groups.SOLUTION: An engine control device is applied to an engine 10 in which a plurality of cylinders 11 are sorted into two or more cylinder groups 10a, 10b, exhaust passages are aggregated at an exhaust aggregation part 23 at a downstream side of exhaust manifolds 20a, 20b which are arranged at the cylinder groups 10a, 10b, respectively, and an air-fuel ratio sensor 33 for detecting an air-fuel ratio of exhaust is arranged at the exhaust aggregation part 23. The engine control device calculates a feedback control amount on the basis of a detection result of the air-fuel ratio sensor 33, and feedback-controls a fuel injection amount of each cylinder 11 on the basis of the feedback control amount. In each of the cylinder groups 10a, 10b, the engine control device calculates the feedback control amount at each of the cylinder groups 10a, 10b on the basis of a difference of an air-fuel ratio detection response up to a time at which exhaust discharged from each cylinder 11 is detected by the air-fuel ratio sensor 33. 【課題】複数の気筒群を有する多気筒エンジンにおける空燃比制御をより適切に実施できるエンジン制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】複数の気筒11が2以上の気筒群10a,10bに分けられ、各気筒群10a,10bの各々に設けられた排気マニホールド20a,20bの下流側の排気集合部23で排気通路が集合しており、当該排気集合部23に排気の空燃比を検出する空燃比センサ33が設けられたエンジン10に適用されるエンジン制御装置は、空燃比センサ33の検出結果に基づきフィードバック制御量を算出し、そのフィードバック制御量に基づき各気筒11における燃料噴射量をフィードバック制御する。そして各気筒群10a、10bにおいて、各気筒11から排出された排気が空燃比センサ33で検出されるまでの空燃比検出応答の差違に基づいて、気筒群10a,10bごとに、フィードバック制御量を算出する。【選択図】 図1
