Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide film deposition ink and a film deposition method capable of forming a film having desired dimensions and excellent film quality at a desired position relatively easily, and to provide a droplet discharge device for use in the film deposition method, and a device with a film formed using the film deposition method and an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: The film deposition ink has a film deposition material, and a liquid medium in which the film deposition material is dissolved or dispersed. The liquid medium contains a first component, and a second component having a boiling point under normal pressure higher than that of the first component under normal pressure, a melting point under normal pressure higher than that of the first component under normal pressure, and being dissolved in the first component. 【課題】所望の位置に所望の寸法で優れた膜質を有する膜を比較的簡単に形成することができる成膜用インクおよび成膜方法を提供すること、また、かかる成膜方法に用いる液滴吐出装置を提供すること、さらに、かかる成膜方法を用いて形成された膜を有する膜付きデバイスおよび電子機器を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の成膜用インクは、成膜材料と、成膜材料が溶解または分散される液性媒体とを有し、液性媒体は、第1成分と、常圧での沸点が第1成分の常圧での沸点よりも高く、かつ、常圧での融点が第1成分の常圧での融点よりも高いとともに、第1成分に溶解する第2成分とを含む。【選択図】図1
