Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detachable device, a developer container, and an image forming apparatus in which even when a contact type information storage device is installed in a detachable device attachably/detachably installed in the image forming apparatus main body, a contact failure due to a positioning failure between the image forming apparatus main body and the main body side terminal of a connector hardly occurs.SOLUTION: In a detachable device 34Y, a holding part 34k for holding an information storage device 35 is installed. In the information storage device 35, an information storage part and a plurality of terminals 35a are held, and a substrate 35b formed with a notch for positioning for determining the positions of the plurality of terminals 35a is disposed so as to be engaged with a protrusion 73e3 for positioning installed in an image forming apparatus main body 73. Furthermore, the information storage device 35 is held by the holding part 34k so as to move on a virtual plane intersecting an attachment/detachment direction of the detachable device 34Y with respect to the image forming apparatus main body 73. 【課題】画像形成装置本体に対して着脱可能に設置される着脱可能装置に、接触式の情報記憶装置を設置した場合であっても、画像形成装置本体のコネクタの本体側端子との位置決め不良による接触不良が生じにくい、着脱可能装置、現像剤容器、及び、画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】着脱可能装置３４Ｙには、情報記憶装置３５を保持した保持部３４ｋが設置されている。情報記憶装置３５には、情報格納部と複数の端子３５ａとが保持されるとともに、画像形成装置本体７３に設置された位置決め用の突起部７３ｅ３に係合して複数の端子３５ａの位置を定めるための位置決め用の切欠部が形成された基板３５ｂが設けられている。さらに、保持部３４ｋは、画像形成装置本体７３に対する着脱可能装置３４Ｙの着脱方向に対して交差する仮想平面上を移動できるように情報記憶装置３５を保持する。【選択図】図１７
