Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device which can suppress electrification of a medium.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device comprises a transfer mechanism which transfers media S1, S2 in a transfer direction and a head which discharges liquid to the media, and makes the liquid discharged from the head reach the media. The liquid is electrified at the time of being discharged from the head. The transfer mechanism comprises a first transfer member 241 which is brought into contact with the media on the upper stream side in the transfer direction than the head and a second transfer member 242 which is brought into contact with the media on the upper stream side in the transfer direction than the head and is made of material different from the first transfer member.
