PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of highly efficiently implementing processing for executing drive control of respective reels.SOLUTION: A slot machine acquires a value of a reel rotation failure detection counter corresponding to each reel (a step S210), and determines reel rotation failure by comparison with a prescribed value (a step S214). When the reel rotation failure is detected (YES in a step S214), the slot machine inhibits timer interruption processing for periodically controlling rotation drive of reels (a step S188), and then initiates respective parameters to be referred when the reels are accelerated (steps S192-S198). This configuration can prevent a trouble from occurring in reacceleration of the reels. 【課題】各リールの駆動制御を行うための処理を効率良く実現することができるスロットマシンを提供すること。【解決手段】各リールに対応するリール回転不良検出カウンタの値を取得して（ステップＳ２１０）、所定値との比較によってリール回転不良の判定を行う（ステップＳ２１４）。また、リール回転不良が検出されたときは（ステップＳ２１４，ＹＥＳ）、周期的にリールの回転駆動を制御しているタイマ割込処理を禁止した上で（ステップＳ１８８）、リールの加速時に参照される各パラメータを初期化するため（ステップＳ１９２〜Ｓ１９８）、リールの再加速時に支障を来すことがない。【選択図】図２８
