Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device or the like excellent in use efficiency of light, in which light such as a laser beam can be guided to a desired optical path to irradiate an irradiation target without allowing the laser beam to propagate out of the optical path.SOLUTION: A light source device 2 to be used for a projector 1 is constituted by a light source (excitation light source) 10, a reflective/transmissive wheel 11, a first diffusion plate 12, a lens 13, a first dichroic mirror 14, a lens 15, a phosphor wheel 16, a second diffusion plate 17, a lens 18, a reflective mirror group 19, a lens 20, a second dichroic mirror 21, a lens 22, and a color component switching disk 23. The reflective mirror group 19 is composed of a first reflective mirror 19a and a second reflective mirror 19b. A reflection surface 191a of the first reflective mirror 19a and a reflection surface 191b of the second reflective mirror 19b are disposed to oppose to each other, and the reflection position of the first reflective mirror 19a and the reflection position of the second reflective mirror 19b are aligned at the same position.
