PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method of producing 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene(1234yf) using only easy-to-use raw materials.SOLUTION: A method of producing 1234yf comprises a step (a) of bringing 1,1,2,3,3,3-hexafluoropropene (1216) in contact with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst to produce 1,1,2,3,3,3-hexafluoropropane (236ea), a step (b) of dehydrofluorinating 236ea to produce 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene (1225ye), a step (c) of bringing 1225ye in contact with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst to produce 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropane (245eb) and a step (d) of dehydrofluorinating 245eb to produce 1234yf, carried out in this order. 【課題】易利用性原材料のみを用いる２，３，３，３-テトラフルオロプロペン（１２３４ｙｆ）の新たな製造方法の提供。【解決手段】以下の工程（ａ）〜（ｄ）をその順で実施することからなる１２３４ｙｆの製造方法。（ａ）水素化触媒の存在下で１，１，２，３，３，３-ヘキサフルオロプロペン（１２１６）を水素と接触させて１，１，２，３，３，３-ヘキサフルオロプロパン（２３６ｅａ）を生成、（ｂ）２３６ｅａを脱フッ化水素して１，２，３，３，３-ペンタフルオロプロペン（１２２５ｙｅ）を生成（ｃ）水素化触媒の存在下で１２２５ｙｅを水素と接触させて１，２，３，３，３-ペンタフルオロプロパン（２４５ｅｂ）を生成、（ｄ）２４５ｅｂを脱フッ化水素して１２３４ｙｆを生成【選択図】なし
