Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a whiplash of an occupant by surely absorbing energy at a rear-face collision by a simple and inexpensive constitution.SOLUTION: A headrest frame abuts on a roll bar 6 by moving to a rear part of a head of an occupant at the occurrence of a rear-face collision by installing energy absorption members 8, 9 to the headrest frame and the roll bar 6, respectively, the headrest frame 3b abuts on the roll bar 6 while the energy is absorbed by both the energy absorption members 8, 9, the moment which becomes large as progressing downwardly acts on a seatback frame with the headrest frame as a fulcrum, the deformation of the seatback frame is thus promoted, the energy at the collision is sufficiently absorbed, and a physical body and the head of the occupant can be simultaneously protected. 【課題】簡単かつ安価な構成により、後面衝突時のエネルギーを確実に吸収して乗員の鞭打ちを軽減できるようにする。【解決手段】ヘッドレストフレームおよびロールバー6それぞれに、エネルギー吸収材8,9を設けることにより、後面衝突発生時における乗員頭部の後方への移動によりヘッドレストフレームがロールバー6に当接し、両エネルギー吸収材8,9によってエネルギーが吸収されつつヘッドレストフレーム3bがロールバー6に当接し、ヘッドレストフレームを支点として、下方に行くにしたがって大きくなるモーメントがシートバックフレームに作用してシートバックフレームの変形が促進され、衝突時のエネルギーが十分に吸収され、乗員の身体全体と同時に頭部を保護できる。【選択図】図1
