PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and the like that enables an image with less sense of incongruity to be observed according to which display section is used from among a plurality of display sections.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element 9; an AE control unit 13; an imaging control unit 10 that causes the imaging element 9 to perform photographing; an electronic viewfinder 18 through which an image is observed; and an electronic display unit 19, the electronic viewfinder 18 and the electronic display unit 19 alternatively displaying an image. When performing an exposure control, the AE control unit 13 sets a first exposure-condition that is the same as the exposure-condition for photographing an image data for recording when an image is displayed on the electronic display unit 19, and sets a second exposure-condition that is different from the first exposure-condition when an image is displayed on the electronic viewfinder 18. 【課題】複数の表示部の何れを用いるかに応じて、違和感を感じることが少ない画像を観察し得る撮像装置等を提供する。【解決手段】撮像素子９と、ＡＥ制御部１３と、撮像素子９に撮影を行わせる撮像制御部１０と、覗いて画像を観察するためのＥＶＦ１８と、ＥＶＦ１８と択一的に画像を表示する電子表示部１９と、を備え、ＡＥ制御部１３は、露出制御に際して、電子表示部１９に画像を表示するときは記録用の画像データを撮影するための露出条件と同一の第１の露出条件を設定し、ＥＶＦ１８に画像を表示するときは第１の露出条件とは異なる第２の露出条件を設定する撮像装置。【選択図】図１
