PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic Kana pronouncing registration method, a program, and a device capable of improving efficiency of character input.SOLUTION: An automatic Kana pronouncing registration method comprises: a first input process of making a user input a first reading Kana; a first display process of displaying the input first reading Kana; a first conversion process of converting the first reading Kana which is displayed on an input picture 11 into other characters when the conversion operation is performed; a storage process of storing the first reading Kana in a Kana pronouncing area; a second input process of making the user input a second reading Kana when the first reading Kana is not converted into a desired Kanji; a second display process of displaying the input second reading Kana; a second conversion process of converting the second reading Kana which is displayed on the input picture 11 into a Kanji when the conversion operation is performed; a repetition process of repeating the second input process, the second display process, and the second conversion process until the reading Kana is converted into the desired Kanji; and a registration process of registering the first reading Kana stored in the storage process and the desired Kanji converted in the second conversion process by associating them with each other. 【課題】文字入力の効率を向上させることが可能な自動振り仮名登録方法、プログラム及び装置を提供する。【解決手段】第１読み仮名を入力させる第１入力工程と、入力された第１読み仮名を表示する第１表示工程と、変換操作が行われた際に、入力画面１１に表示されている第１読み仮名を、他の文字に変換する第１変換工程及び振り仮名領域に記憶する記憶工程と、第１読み仮名が所望の漢字に変換されていない場合に、第２読み仮名を入力させる第２入力工程と、入力された第２読み仮名を表示する第２表示工程と、変換操作が行われた際に、入力画面１１に表示されている第２読み仮名を漢字に変換する第２変換工程と、所望の漢字に変換されるまで、第２入力工程、第２表示工程、及び第２変換工程を繰り返す繰り返し工程と、記憶工程において記憶された第１読み仮名と、第２変換工程において変換された所望の漢字とを対応付けて登録する登録工程と、を備える。【選択図】 図２
