Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide machine comprising a slide member which has a slide surface greatly reducing a friction coefficient and exhibiting superior wear resistance.SOLUTION: A slide machine according to the present invention includes a pair of slide members which have relatively movable opposite slide surfaces, and lubricating oil which can be interposed between the opposite slide surfaces, and at least one of the slide surfaces is a specific slide surface having its outermost surface coated at least partially with a boron-containing amorphous carbon film (B-DLC film) containing 23 to 50 atom% of B and 26 to 50 atom% of H for 100 atom% of the whole. The specific slide surface is obtained as a boron-containing amorphous carbon film formed on a base material surface exhibits self-smoothing properties of wearing itself to reduce its surface roughness. Consequently, the slide machine has stable fluid lubrication between slide surfaces and an excellent slidable characteristic.
【課題】摩擦係数の大幅な低減と優れた耐摩耗性を発揮する摺動面を有する摺動部材からなる摺動機械を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の摺動機械は、相対移動し得る対向した摺動面を有する一対の摺動部材と、対向する摺動面間に介在し得る潤滑油とを備えた摺動機械であって、摺動面の少なくとも一方は、全体を100原子%としたときに23〜50原子%のBと26〜50%のHを含むホウ素含有非晶質炭素膜(B−DLC膜)により最表面の少なくとも一部が被覆された特定摺動面であることを特徴とする。このような特定摺動面は、基材表面に形成されたホウ素含有非晶質炭素膜が自ら摩耗して、その表面粗さを小さくする自己平滑性を発揮することにより得られる。こうして本発明の摺動機械では、摺動面間で安定した流体潤滑がなされ、優れた摺動特性を発揮する。【選択図】図3 |
