Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a compound having a ureido group capable of obtaining a compound having a ureido group useful as an intermediate in producing an isocyanate in a short time with a high yield and high purity while suppressing the generation of by-products observed in a conventional production method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a compound having a ureido group by reacting an organic primary amine with urea, which comprises a reaction step of circulating a solution containing an organic primary amine, urea and an aromatic hydroxy compound through a flow channel in which the area of the thermally conductive surface of the hollow inside is 1 to 100 cm/cmat a temperature of 30°C or more. 【課題】イソシアネートを製造する際の中間体として有用な化合物であるウレイド基を有する化合物を、短時間で、従来の製造方法でみられた副生物の生成を抑制しつつ、高収率かつ高純度で得られる、ウレイド基を有する化合物の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】有機第1級アミンと尿素とを反応させてウレイド基を有する化合物を製造する方法であって、有機第1級アミンと尿素と芳香族ヒドロキシ化合物とを含む溶液を、中空内部の熱伝導面の面積が1〜100cm2/cm3である流路に30℃以上の温度で流通させる反応工程を有する、ウレイド基を有する化合物の製造方法。【選択図】なし
