PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve keeping of a proper sagging amount and suppression of meander of a medium during conveying the medium while reducing the number of sensors to be needed.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes: a medium delivering part 3 for delivering a medium M; a delivery amount adjusting part 9 for adjusting the delivery amount of the medium M delivered from the medium delivering part 3 on the basis of a change of the sagging amount W of the medium M in a downstream position of the medium delivering part; a first sensor 13 arranged at a position facing at least one edge part 11A of the medium M in a width direction; and a second sensor 15 arranged so as to be separated from the first sensor 13 in the width direction of the medium M.
