Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the automatic control of a steering operation angle which scarcely imparts incongruity to a driver even in an S-curve region.SOLUTION: In the case that a road width center line curvature radius Ra which is sequentially calculated at a radius curvature calculation part 106 on the basis of a current position of an own vehicle which is sequentially specified at a current position specifying part 101, and a road contour which is decided at a road contour deciding part 103 is increased, a prescribed upper limit is set at an increase rate of the road width center line radius curvature Ra which is used for calculating a curve turn required tire operation angle _curv, thus a frequent change of a steering direction at a steering indication part is suppressed, and the automatic control of a steering operation angle which scarcely imparts incongruity to a driver even in an S-curve region becomes possible.
【課題】S字カーブ領域においてもドライバに違和感を与えることが少ないステアリング切り角の自動制御を可能にする。【解決手段】現在位置特定部101で逐次特定する自車の現在位置と、道路外形決定部103で決定した道路外形とをもとに、曲率半径算出部106で逐次算出する道路幅中心線曲率半径Raが増加している場合に、カーブ旋回要求タイヤ切れ角 _curvを算出するのに用いる道路幅中心線曲率半径Raの増加率に所定の上限を設けることで、操舵指示部で操舵方向を頻繁に変化させてしまうことを抑え、S字カーブ領域においてもドライバに違和感を与えることが少ないステアリング切り角の自動制御を可能にする。【選択図】図3 |
