PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which can prevent the occurrence of density unevenness in a formed image.SOLUTION: A laser printer is an image formation device which forms an image by scanning a photoreceptor drum with light from an LD and includes an LD control circuit which supplies a pulse-like driving current based on image data to the LD. The driving current has the amplitude of a part corresponding to a specific pixel of the image data larger than the amplitude of a part corresponding to a normal pixel being a pixel other than the specific pixel of the image data, and the pulse width of the part corresponding to the specific pixel smaller than the pulse width of the part corresponding to the normal pixel. In this case, the occurrence of density unevenness in a formed image can be prevented. 【課題】形成される画像に濃度ムラが発生するのを防止できる画像形成装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 レーザプリンタは、ＬＤからの光により感光体ドラムを走査して画像を形成する画像形成装置であり、画像データに基づくパルス状の駆動電流をＬＤに供給するＬＤ制御回路を備え、駆動電流は、画像データの特定画素に対応する部分の振幅が画像データの特定画素以外の画素である通常画素に対応する部分の振幅よりも大きく、かつ特定画素に対応する部分のパルス幅が通常画素に対応する部分のパルス幅よりも小さい。この場合、形成される画像に濃度ムラが発生するのを防止できる。【選択図】図９
