PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist sauna device capable of determining presence/absence of opening failure of a heat medium valve when performing a cold water mist operation, in the mist sauna device which can select between a hot water mist operation in which water supplied to a mist nozzle is heated and sprayed and a cold water mist operation in which the water supplied to the mist nozzle is sprayed without being heated.SOLUTION: A mist sauna device 1 includes: a heat source machine 8; a mist nozzle 18; a water supply passage 19 for supplying water to the mist nozzle; a liquid-liquid heat exchanger 20 interposed in the water supply passage; and a heat medium circulation passage 21 for mist for circulating a heat medium via the liquid-liquid heat exchanger. A heat medium valve 12 which can cut off circulation of the heat medium is provided, and also, water temperature detection means 25 is provided at a portion of the water supply passage on a downstream side of the liquid-liquid heat exchanger. When a cold water mist operation is selected in a state where the heat source machine is being operated, a command is outputted for closing the heat medium valve, and it is determined whether or not detection temperature of the water temperature detection means is equal to or greater than predetermined temperature after elapse of predetermined time from the output time point. 【課題】ミストノズルに供給する水を加熱して、噴霧させる温水ミスト運転と、ミストノズルに供給する水を加熱せずに、噴霧させる冷水ミスト運転とを選択可能としたミストサウナ装置において、冷水ミスト運転を行うとき、熱媒弁の開故障の有無を判別できるようにしたミストサウナ装置を提供する。【解決手段】ミストサウナ装置１は、熱源機８と、ミストノズル１８と、ミストノズルに水を供給する給水路１９と、給水路に介設した液々熱交換器２０と、熱媒体を液々熱交換器を介して循環させるミスト用熱媒循環路２１とを備え、熱媒体の循環を遮断可能な熱媒弁１２を設けると共に、液々熱交換器の下流側の給水路の部分に水温検出手段２５を設ける。熱源機が作動している状態で冷水ミスト運転が選択されたとき、熱媒弁を閉弁する指令を出力し、出力時点から所定時間経過後に水温検出手段の検出温度が所定温度以上であるか否かを判別する。【選択図】図１
