PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection system allowing a user to correctly recognize the user's positioning floor from neighboring floors.SOLUTION: The position detection system includes a tag carried by a user, which stores a piece of floor ID information when the user passes a radio wave range of a tag reader disposed adjacent to a door. After that, when the user moves out of the radio wave range of a tag reader dispose on a ceiling, and even when a radio wave reaches from a tag reader disposed on a ceiling of a neighboring floor, since the floor ID information is different from the user's ID information, the user's ID information is not transmitted. The user's ID information is transmitted to a tag reader disposed on the floor, which has the identical floor ID information stored in the tag. 【課題】本発明は、利用者が位置する階床と隣接する階床と誤検知しないような位置検知システムを提供することである。【解決手段】本発明に係る位置検知システムでは、タグを所有する利用者が扉付近に設置されたタグリーダの電波範囲を通過する際にタグには階床識別情報が記憶され、利用者がその後天井に設置されたタグリーダの電波範囲を移動した際には、隣接階の天井に設置されたタグリーダの電波が漏洩していても階床識別情報が異なるために利用者識別情報を送信することはなく、タグに記憶された階床識別情報と同一階床に設置したタグリーダにのみ利用者識別情報を送信する。【選択図】 図３
