Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-made impact absorbing member which is simple in structure and has stable impact absorption performance.SOLUTION: There is provided a resin-made impact absorbing member which is composed of a fiber-reinforced resin material having a reinforced fiber and a thermal plastic resin, and has a hollow-structure impact absorbing part composed of an outer cylinder part and a hollow part. An average fiber length of the reinforced fiber is 1 to 100 mm, the rupture elongation of the thermal plastic resin is not lower than 10%, a compression elasticity rate of the fiber-reinforced resin material is not lower than 10 GPa, and compression strength is 150 to 500 MPa, and in the impact absorbing part, a maximum value of a ratio L1/t1 of a distance L1 from a gravity center position in a cross shape in a direction orthogonal to an impact absorbing direction up to the outer cylinder part at the same cross section and a thickness t1 of the outer cylinder part is not larger than 40. 【課題】簡易な構造で安定した衝撃吸収性能を持つ樹脂製衝撃吸収部材を提供する。【解決手段】強化繊維と熱可塑性樹脂とを含有する繊維強化樹脂材料からなり、外筒部と中空部とからなる中空構造の衝撃吸収部を有する樹脂製衝撃吸収部材であって、前記強化繊維は平均繊維長が1〜100mmであり、前記熱可塑性樹脂は破壊伸度が10%以上であり、前記繊維強化樹脂材料は圧縮弾性率が10GPa以上であり、かつ圧縮強度が150〜500MPaであり、前記衝撃吸収部は、衝撃吸収方向に直交する方向の断面形状における重心位置から同一断面における外筒部までの距離L1と、該外筒部の厚みt1との比L1/t1の最大値が40以下であることを特徴とする樹脂製衝撃吸収部材を提供する。【選択図】図1
