Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an issuance device which is prevented from selecting an improper printing format.SOLUTION: The issuance device comprises: storage means for storing type information on a type of a label and printing format information on a printing format of the label, in such a manner that both information are associated with each other; selection means for selecting the type; display means for displaying the printing format in a list; and control means for controlling the display means to display in a list, the printing format corresponding to the type selected by the selection means and the printing format of the other type in such a way that both printing format are distinguished from each other. 【課題】不適切な印字フォーマットが選択されないようにする。【解決手段】発行装置は、ラベルのタイプに関するタイプ情報と、ラベルの印字フォーマットに関する印字フォーマット情報とを対応付けて記憶する記憶手段と、タイプを選択する選択手段と、印字フォーマットを一覧表示する表示手段と、選択手段により選択されたタイプに対応する印字フォーマットと他のタイプの印字フォーマットとを区別して表示手段に一覧表示するように制御する制御手段とを備える。【選択図】図８
