Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively secure position accuracy of arrangement of shim members in passive shimming work of a magnet device of a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The magnetic device includes: a pair of magnetic field generation sources disposed with their vertically facing each other for generating a magnetic field on an imaging area; and a magnetic field adjustment mechanism 11L and the like disposed at both sides of the imaging area, with their vertically facing each other for adjusting uniformity of the magnetic field. The magnetic field adjustment mechanism 11L and the like include shim members 20 as magnetic substances or permanent magnets, and a shim member fixing plate 19 that has a substantially circular or substantially polygonal outer peripheral shape, the surface of which is divided into a plurality of squares 14, and that fixes the shim members 20. Each square 14 quantitatively represents adjustment accuracy for each position of shim members 20 installed in each square. 【課題】磁気共鳴撮像装置の磁石装置に対する受動シミング作業において、シム部材の配置の位置精度を定量的に確保する。【解決手段】磁石装置は、上下に対向して配置されて撮像領域に磁場を生成する1組の磁場発生源と、撮像領域を挟んで上下に対向して配置されて磁場の均一度を調整する磁場調整機構11Lなどを備えている。この磁場調整機構11Lなどは、磁性体または永久磁石のシム部材20と、略円または略多角形の外周形状を有し、表面が複数の升目14に区切られ、かつ、シム部材20を固定するシム部材固定板19とを備える。各升目14は、自身に設置されるシム部材20の位置ごとの調整精度を定量的に示している。【選択図】図3
