Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intellectual toy which enables a user to pseudo-experience an observation action.SOLUTION: In a toy system 900, a loupe-type handy device 930 is held over a page 912 of a body section 910 having a picture section 914. The loupe-type handy device 930 images the picture section 914, to determine a portion of an image of the picture section captured. Image data of a part (partial image) corresponding to an imaged position is read from image data of a picture image which is stored in advance and is the same as the picture section 914, and is displayed on a touch panel 942. When the imaged position satisfies a predetermined position condition, one of image elements W41-W49 selected as a special image is superimposed on the partial image. 【課題】観察行為を疑似的に体感させる知育玩具を提供する。【解決手段】玩具システム９００は、絵画部９１４を有する本体部９１０のページ９１２へ、ルーペ型ハンディ機器９３０を当てて使用する。ルーペ型ハンディ機器９３０は、絵画部９１４を撮影して、当該絵画部の画像の何処を撮影しているかを判別する。そして、予め記憶している絵画部９１４と同じ絵画画像の画像データから被撮影位置に該当する部分（部分画像）の画像データを読み出して、タッチパネル９４２にて表示させる。被撮影位置が所定の位置条件を満たす場合には、更に特別画像として画像要素Ｗ４１〜Ｗ４９の何れかを選択して部分画像に重ね表示させる。【選択図】図５
