Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb a difference between an inner circumference and an outer circumference in a bent portion and to secure strength and rigidity of the bent portion.SOLUTION: A plurality of prepregs 18a being fiber-reinforced resin materials consisting of unidirectional reinforcement is disposed side-by-side on a core metal 16 and is caused to adhere thereto in an axial direction of the core metal 16 with respect to an external surface of a bent portion 14. Subsequently, a heat-shrinkable tape 26 regulating movement of the plurality of prepregs 18a toward outside in a radial direction of the core metal 16 is wound. A shaft-like composite member 10 having a bent portion 12, for example, such as a frame for a vehicle can be obtained by causing an intermediate formed article obtained as described above to be subjected to thermal curing and subsequently peeling off the heat-shrinkable tape. 【課題】曲げ部における内外周差を吸収して曲げ部の強度及び剛性を確保すること。【解決手段】一方向強化材からなる繊維強化樹脂材であるプリプレグ18aを、曲げ部14の外表面に対し芯金16の軸線方向に沿って複数並列して貼り付けた後、プリプレグ18aが芯金16の径方向外側へ移動することを規制する熱収縮テープ26を巻回する。このようにして得られた中間成形体を熱硬化させた後、熱収縮テープを剥離させることで、例えば、車両用フレーム等の曲げ部12を有する軸状複合部材10が得られる。【選択図】図2
