Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power supply which prevents the operation stop of the DC power supply while preventing the thermal destruction of a switching element.SOLUTION: The DC power supply for converting AC power into DC power includes: a DC power supply circuit including MOSFETs Q1, Q3; a temperature detection part 103 for detecting the temperature of the MOSFETs Q1, Q3; and a current detection part for detecting a current which flows through the DC power supply. When the current detected in the current detection part exceeds a predetermined value, the DC power supply suspends switching control of the MOSFETs Q1, Q3. Here, as the temperature detected by the temperature detection part is lower, the predetermined value becomes higher.
